"My Biography"
I am a simple Filipina from Cebu, Philippines. I was born on October 19, 1983 in Tudela, Camotes Island. I am definitely a Camotes girl. We are living in Daan Secante Village. My parents are Warlito Goden and Elecia Goden. We have big family. I am the 5th of the seven siblings. So I have younger brother and sister. Our eldest sisters are twins that`s why we are seven in all. Five of us are married already. Our youngest sister is just in 1st year high school.
I was graduated my high school in Puertobello National High School. While my eldest sisters are graduated on a private school. It was fine with me better than not going to school, right? I went to college in Asian College of Technology, took up Associate in Computer Technology and just completed one year because of LOVE but I didn't regret at all. It was the best decision I`ve ever made in my life. Well I guess this is the good place to share how I met my husband? here it starts...
I was in 1st year college when I met him. He was introduced by me with my cousin, it was August 2001. My hubby and cousin had chatted on ICQ once and then she introduced him to me and gave his email address. Since I felt wanted to have a penpal/netfriend I sent him email but you know what? it`s ashamed to say but honestly on my first email I was pretending I was my cousin coz that`s what we have talked with my cousin coz she heard something like some western people would not be happy if they are introduced to somebody else?. So without thinking it a lot I did pretend on my email as my cousin even though I knew it was not right and really it was very hard so I didn`t continue for long I decided to tell him the truth who really I am coz it`s not my attitude though to lie people, made me bad person. I felt good after I emailed him and telling the truth who really I am. I was looking forward his reply and thinking what would be his reaction and hoping he would understand and forgive me. Before I checked my email I keep telling my best friend classmate that I felt worried he might not forgive me what I`ve done and she comfort me and says he will and she was right! I was so glad and thankful he didn`t get mad at me and I still have a friend. He was just curious about two things 1) who was in the picture? since I sent him one so I replied it was me. 2) who he emailed to? I also reply that they`re sent to me. So finally my problem was over and no more pretending, it is good to be real. . So what you can see about our story? So by then we kept correspond each other by email, chatting and sometime phone conversation. I emailed him almost everyday right after my class since being a student had a little money allowance so I just kept it just to rent a computer in the cafe to email him. It made me sad if I missed a day to email him and felt sad too if got no reply yet when I checked my email, as you know we have different time. Not just that it took time for me to reply his email since I am not English speaker I just tried hard that he could understand my English. Anyways, this story will be long if I tell you everything about our good memories so let`s jump to how we met in person okay?. After those four months of corresponding he decided to visit in the Philippines and meet me in person and agreed each other to know how we really feel between us so he flew to the Philippines on November 16, 2001 and we finally met each other. Then we find out We Love Each Other so we got engaged before he flew back in the States. We had plans that will get marry in the Catholic Church when he gets back in the Philippines and live there but it was all changed he decided to just bring me here as a fiancee. At his first proposed I refused coz my parents disagreed because they wanted us to marry in the Philippines first. So after all those thinking and being missed my only love Nathan I tried to convinced my parents to agreed and so glad I got their permission. So I quit my studies, to process my visa to be with him and so lucky got approved so here we are...I arrived here on November 6, 2002 and we got married on November 19th, quick nuh! it was just nothing changed between our feelings... So now we are blessed two precious sons. We are very thankful to God for all the blessings He has given to us.
